Upcycled Wine Gift Bags

DIY Wine Gift Bags made from old shirts and sweaters | View From The Fridge

Just popping in this evening with a quick project I shared today over at My Crafty Spot … Upcycled Wine Gift Bags.

Can you guess what they’re made from?!?

I know it’s pretty obvious if you glance at the picture, but I finally convinced Matt to retire some of his old shirts!  Wohoo!!  They were beyond their lifetime as shirts (think holes, stains, and dinginess) … and now they’re destined to be cute hostess gifts!

So head over now and check out all the details at My Crafty Spot!!

Stop back bright and early tomorrow for the second week of Summer Spotlight.  Can’t wait to highlight another fabulous blogger and some of her great projects (think recipes … hint, hint!!).

What a neat idea. I usually buy them but these are easy enough that I can now make them and at the same time get rid of unwanted clothing. I’m glad that you shared this on Weekend Wind-Down

These are really cute, and a great way to recycle old shirts! I especially like the red, white, and blue one. Very patriotic!

What an absolutely terrific idea! Usually, I rip off the buttons of an old shirt for a future project, but looks like I’ll need to pull out my scissors next time!
