Twine Wrapped Bottle Vases

January 26, 2015
Upcycled, Twine Wrapped Wine Bottles | View From The Fridge

Guess what?!?!

25 hours in a van … with 3 kiddos … and one large dog … a very bumpy boat ride (with everything including ALL OF OUR FOOD for the next couple weeks), and we’ve arrived at our {nearly} deserted island!  We traded in the view of our snow covered lawn for this:

The Beach!

We love the ocean!!

Molly is in heaven … the boys could run along the beach and collect shells for hours … and Matt and I are just happy to not have to put jackets, snowpants, boots, hats, and gloves on all three boys before going outside!

But … the reason why you’re probably here is to check out these awesome lil’ upcycled vases we made before heading out of town:

Don’t those tulips make you super excited for Spring (as if you needed another reason).  Side note … tulips are my all time favorite flower (hint, hint Matt … I’d rather have a dozen of these than roses).

Anyway … I’m sharing all the details on how to make these vases and those cute rosettes over on Juggling Act Mama today!

Do you have any travel plans in the near future?  Are you beach or mountain kinda vacationers in the winter? And if you’re just dying to see more beach and sun (I’m hoping), follow us on instagram for the latest!
