So Spring happens to be like Christmas around the Stahl household.  All five of us have our birthdays in April and May, as do both my siblings, my mom, my mother and father in law, two nieces, and one nephew.   Yep … it’s like Christmas all over again!

So .. to celebrate Birthday season over here I’ve rounded up some of my favorite Kid’s Birthday Party Ideas for you to check out!  This round up is also for a very loyal reader who asked for my help for ideas for her little girl’s second birthday party.  Ummm … that was like 4 months ago, and I’m sure she’s picked a theme already, but … Crystal … this is for you!  (Sorry it’s so late!)  Maybe ideas for next year??

I’ll start with the birthday party ideas for little boys since that seems to be what I deal with most around here!

We’ll start the round up with Charlie and my nephew, Jackson’s, Thomas The Train Birthday Party from last year.  (and by the way … he’s requesting Thomas again this year … which is not exciting (for me), but at least it was a hit, right?)

We went with decorating using the colors of three of the main characters:  Blue for Thomas, Green for Percy, and Red for James.  We had brownie bite ‘coal’ and meringue bite ‘steam’.  The cupcake toppers were a hit (and so simple to make … the boys even helped!).
