I have a quick post today … simple chalkboard gift tags jazzed up just a bit (ready for those presents I need to wrap)!
I’ll get to those tags in just a minute, but thought I’d give you a quick glimpse of what is happening at our house.
We spent the afternoon at my Mom’s house yesterday because our upstairs looked like this:

Upstairs Bathroom
I don’t think I’ll be taking a shower in there for a couple days.
I don’t think there will be any napping in there this afternoon …
And Charlie’s room is pretty much empty:

Molly’s ‘perch’ has been overtaken by stuff:
And our room is a bit crowded:

How many dressers can you fit in one room?
We’re updating the upstairs bedrooms and this is where we’re at … total mess! We have plaster walls that need some work, so we had our ‘plaster guy’ in today working on the walls in Owen and Charlie’s rooms. It will be nice when it’s all done, but there was going to be no napping at our house yesterday!
So, I worked on a quick, simple project at my Mom’s (while O and C attempted to nap).
I started with these fun chalkboard tags from Michaels (I think they’re each around $0.85 each):

Then using a chalk marker for one set of tags, and a gold leaf pen for the other set …

I labeled the tags and jazzed ’em up a bit:

Now, I just need some wrapped presents to put these on! Maybe this afternoon??
Have a great Wednesday!
