Rustic Wood Block Pumpkins

September 9, 2014
Rustic, industrial, abstract Wood Block Pumpkins | View From The Fridge

Do you see it???  These are totally my take on pumpkins this year.  They’re not orange.  They’re not round.  They have stripes and polka dots.  And you can’t carve them (well, actually … I suppose you could with some slightly different tools).

These are my rustic-industrial-abstract Wood Block Pumpkins.

I’m over at Real Housemoms sharing all the details!

How’s your Fall Decor coming along??  My boys don’t start preschool until next week, so Im having a tough time getting out of the summer mode!

We did go on our first hayride of the season the other weekend …

That was very Fall of us, huh?

Anyway … we’re off to the Apple Orchard today (also very Fall of us!!).

Wow, your “pumpkins” would be perfect in our color scheme of aquas and grays. Love polka dots and stripes, gotta make me some. That’s after hubs gets over his “mood”. I mentioned last night he get out my fall box and he went into a hissy about it’s still summer and not fall and doesn’t want to look at fall “crap” yet. Don’t know where that came from but talk about grumpy old men, sheesh. All I’d done so far is put a bird cage with small amount of faux gourds I got at $tree and couple of owls.
Your pumpkins are adorable, love the wire and screw/nail on top for stump. So darned cute. They would really go well on my shutter shelf (aka mantel). Now if I dare ask hubs to make some blocks for me.
