Practicing our letters with brotherly LOVE

LOVE letters | View From The Fridge

’tis the week of LOVE, right?  (or Hallmark says so, at least).

This afternoon, I wanted to share our very own LOVE project.  It’s a quick picture collage of my favorite two little loves.  Grandmas  …  this post is for you! 😉

Owen and Charlie are practicing their letters and spelling out the word of the week … ‘LOVE’.  Take a look:

To get my two little loves in position, I needed a bit of help from my ‘big’ LOVE (a.k.a Matt) and my ‘furry’ LOVE (Miss Molly).

MOLLY WANTS TO GET IN ON THE ACTION!

The ‘e’ was the hardest … Charlie kept trying to kick Owen it the stomach.  We couldn’t come up with enough extremities for a capital ‘E’, so lowercase it was!  The rest of the letters we easy, and the boys got a kick out of this ‘project’.  It took some explaining on my part what exactly we were trying to accomplish, but if you use your imagination (just a bit), it obviously spells out LOVe!

My two little loves spelling LOVe (with a little e).  Might have to frame one (or all) of these so I can look at it everyday!

I realize this post is a bit out of the ordinary (no crafting, decorating, or organizing here), but I love the pictures … so I just had to share.  I hope it added a little inspiration to your day (or at least put a smile on your face).

I’ll leave you today with a couple more ‘love’ images to get you in the Valentine’s mood:

Happy Valentine’s Day, all!  I’ll be back Friday with more organizing (which reminds me … I’m off to work on that!).

I think it looks adorable. You should have done one with Moly and Matt! That would have been hilarious. 😉

Ha! That would have been quite difficult with Molly, though with all of us I’m sure we could have figured out how to make an uppercase ‘E’. Molly does not love pictures or cameras, either …
