Patriotic DIY Paper Flower Tutorial

DIY Paper Flower Tutorial from View From The Fridge

Just popping in this Saturday morning with you a fun project I’m sharing over at Juggling Act Mama this morning … Patriotic DIY Paper Flowers!

Easy to create DIY Paper Flowers. Full tutorial from View From The Fridge

I happened to find these flowers for sale at one of my favorite places ever … Mama’s Happy.  It’s a local store that I LOVE!!  Tons of repurposed items, creative home decor, and unique gifts!  I get lots of my DIY ideas from there!  These paper flowers were selling for $2 each!!  At that price, they were totally worth buying!!  But … once I got home, my DIY urge kicked in, and I just had to figure out how to make some myself!  Well, I figured it out, made several more paper flowers, and decided to share how easy it was!!  Click below to get the full tutorial!

I’ll see you back here this evening for DIY Sunday Showcase link party!

The flowers are cute! I like the non traditional take you did with the blue. Fresh but still recognizably patriotic.

Thanks, Rachel! It would be a little difficult finding a REAL blue flower, so scrapbook paper flowers are perfect (and they come in whatever color you want!!). Thanks for stopping by~

Your flowers look so pretty and pretty difficult but I’ll save my opinion til I can print out the how to and try it myself. Appreciate the great tutorial as I’m not one bit good at that kind of thing but now it’s like a challenge to make them, hopefully to look llke yours. Happy summer days

We made these same origami flowers for my best friend’s wedding reception in all different colors. But, I really love the red, white and blue theme along with the button accent!
