Our Happily Ever After {Entryway Makeover Progress & Free Printable}

Welcome To Our Happily Ever After. Entryway Printable Quote from View From The Fridge

As you may have heard (because I’ve mentioned it several times in my posts this week … sorry!), I’m over in Salt Lake City right now at my very first blog conference.  It’s also my very first time in Salt Lake City, so I’m thrilled to check out what this city has to offer!  And I do love the mountains!

But … since it’s Thursday, and since I signed up for the One Room Challenge this season, and since I vowed to makeover our Entryway in six weeks, it’s time for my weekly update.

Well, my friends … don’t hold your breath for miraculous changes.  Our progress this past week has been slow.  Like almost nonexistent. But I do have a freebie for you to make up for it.

With the red walls and barn door gone and replaced by white (more on that transformation HERE), we’ve moved on to the building, hanging, and accessorizing part of this makeover.

Let’s review …

We’ve gone from RED, red, red everywhere (and a very messy Entryway ‘nook’):

to crisp, white, and ready for a new bench and some functional storage:

On the wall to the left, however, we’ve decided to hang two picture ledges with a custom DIY coat hanger underneath.  And that is about all we’ve accomplished this week.

Take a peak at a glimpse of the {still unfinished} coat hanger and the picture ledge above it:

And as for that ‘art’ on the picture shelf, I’m sharing the simple printable HERE:

Hopefully I’ll be back next week with some good progress to share on the built in bench!  Until then … if you have a favorite place in Salt Lake City that I should check out … let me know!!
