Easy 5 Minute DIY Fall Wreath

September 22, 2014
Fall Home Tour | View From The Fridge

Well, it’s official … Fall is here.

It has arrived (okay, technically it doesn’t arrive until late tonight, but it is arriving today).

In all it’s fantastic-ness … Mums, pumpkins, sweaters, boots, campfires, sleeping with the windows open and big, warm blankets, apples, Oktoberfest beers, College football, football in general, hayrides, and hot apple cider.

I love Fall.  I love Autumn.  Why does this season have two names (someone help me out, as I’m too lazy to google it right now)?  I don’t, however, love what comes next (Winter), but let’s not think about that for the moment.

So … today, I am sharing a quick an easy DIY Fall Wreath over at Juggling Act Mama.  I put it together one morning last week, and it seriously took 5 minutes to make.  5 minutes.  Maybe 4 and a half??  Not joking.  It took me about double that to figure out how to hang it on our door, however, but I managed to finish the whole thing without any boy interrupting.  No fights to break up.  No tears.  No crying.  No asking for food.  Just three happy boys for 5 minutes, and I was able to make this wreath.

Our door is now welcoming and festive … agree?

I am frantically trying to get my house decorated for the full out Fall Tour on Wednesday that I’m participating in.  Be sure to come back and see if I had any success!  Ha!

How about you????  Are you embracing Fall or mourning the end of Summer?  If Winter didn’t have to follow … I would love every single thing about this season.  Except maybe the bees.  Not a fan of the bees around my kiddos.

Anyway …. Happy Monday, and we’ll see you back here for the full ‘tour’ soon!

I’ve seen a ton of Fall wreaths lately, but this one is really unique! I love it. I really need to get a basic wreath that I can decorate for different seasons or holidays.

Loving the orange and aqua colors! But my favorite is the stalks of wheat. Very cool addition to the wreath!

5 minutes! Now that’s my kind of crafting. Or at least it has to be some days when the kiddos are being rambunctious. Thanks for linking up at Show Me Saturday. Hope to see you there next week!
