Happy Monday! I’m a little sad to report that this is the boys’ last week of Preschool. It’s a little sad because they absolutely LOVE their teachers and classmates and look forward to going each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. They will miss everyone this summer! Selfishly … I will also miss the quiet and/or productive mornings that I’ve had for the past eight months to spend with only Baby Ben. On the plus side, however … the end of school means Summer is here (hooray!!), trips to the beach, the park, a couple summer vacations, and a select few summer camps!
With the end of the school year, we wanted to give each of their teachers a little something as a ‘thank you’ for making this year such a great one. It’s a small token of appreciation, but it’s also handmade and thoughtful (at least I think so!). We decided to make these adorable mason jar plant gifts with a cute tag. I figured that this is something they can use in their homes, and you can never have too many plants, right?!?
Here’s how it turned out:
And then I got a little carried away and created some for ‘Thank you’ gifts, and housewarming gifts (and there are many more occasions that you could use these for). They’re just a simple, useful, and thoughtful gift to give!
Stop on over to Juggling Act Mama to see how I made these and to download the tags!
How about you … are you dreading the end of the school year? Looking forward to it? Indifferent? Or are your kiddos already out of school?? In which case … how’s it going so far?
