Christmas Pictures 2013

December 23, 2013

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

I hope you and your families are enjoying a wonderful Christmas season!  Our Christmas cards are sent (finally!), so I thought I’d share some of our family Christmas pictures with you.

We love our photographer, Shinano Katagiri, from Some Sort of Escapade.  She’s taken our family pictures for four years in a row (wow!  This is our fouth Christmas with kids?!?).  She’s great … laid back, relaxed, and very creative.  My boys love her!

This year we headed downtown St. Paul for some pictures at the historic Landmark Center.  We usually do outside shots, so it was nice to change it up a bit (and stay warm!).  The only downside is that Miss Molly was excluded (no dogs allowed in the Landmark Center!).  Oh well, we’ll get some ‘Christmas’ shots of her this season, too (just maybe not professional quality).  :)

Here’s the four of us this year (five if you count baby #3 on board):

And this is probably my favorite one of the boys:

They love their matching shoes from Grandma and Grandpa!

Here’s another cute shot of them pretending to be best friends …

I love how she captured Charlie’s blue eyes in this picture:

Charlie’s big blue eyes were the first thing we noticed when he was born.  First thing we noticed about Owen … his one dimple:

Another family shot.  Matt thinks we definitely look ‘Minnesotan’ in this picture (pale, pale, pale …).  I love the boys’ expressions in this picture!

Waving hello (we added in Charlie’s bow tie now) …

Christmas pose by the Christmas Tree …

‘Rearranging’ ornaments:

Charlie and his bowtie … looks like he’s up to no good!

And these last couple that we took as afterthoughts at the end are a couple of my favorites.  Matt entertaining the boys while I wrote Shinano a check.  I totally think this should be framed in Matt’s office!

And this final shot of us all.  I wanted to send this out on Christmas cards, but figured people usually like to see faces …

That’s our Christmas 2013!  Next year we’ll have one more little one to add to the chaos fun!  Merry Christmas and enjoy this time with your families!
